A highly accomplished blues player, Tom Principato is revered by his peers, and worshiped by his fans. Former frontman of the band Powerhouse, Tom has subsequently progressed to develop a deft and inimitable blues style. This release offers plenty of video clips from Tom's illustrious career, including jams with some very special guests.
Tom Principato's 'Anniversary DVD-Celebrating 40 years of Roots Guitar Playing'is culled from various sources that include foreign and domestic TV appearances, as well as amateur video shot between 1976 and 1998. Players past and present include Danny Gatton, Albert Lee, Duke Robillard, Pete Kennedy, Dave Hildalgo, and the late Little Jimmy King. Also of note is an extremely rare clip of Tom's Band Powerhouse from 1976 at a small club in Connecticut.
