In this series of 3 DVDs Sil van der Woerd tells and shows all stages of production of the beautiful Swan clip Blanc has been awarded Best Music Video at hdfest. Used by programs such as Maya, Boujou, ZBrush, BodyPaint, After Effects. In this set of three discs, the production process to make the music video White Swan is revealed. Winner of Best Music Video at hdfest, White Swan is a unique collaboration between students of Gnomon School of Visual Effects and Sil van der Woerd director. This set is broken down step by step process of integrating action sequences with complex digital sets to create an imaginary world inspired by the music of singer Lolly Jane Blue.

Each disc explores a particular stage in the chain of production from concept to final composition. Sil begins with a discussion of early exploration and pre-production process, and is followed by the students as they cover their particular responsibilities for production. Sil and students cover many technical topics, including motion tracking in Boujou, compositing, rotoscoping and capture in After Effects, preview, modeling in ZBrush, BodyPaint texturing, digital cameras, animation and effects in Maya. This set hopes to inspire and educate those who dream of creating their own live-action production that integrates dynamic visual effects.
